For Nascar fans, and race fans all across the United States, the Indy 500 is one of the greatest racing events, which fans wait for annually. It is debatably the greatest race in Nascar’s history, yet some proponents of the racing world will not go as far as calling it the greatest race to date. It is one of the major Nascar races which is held annually, and is one of the most watched races in the racing world. However, there are approximately ten other big Nascar races which are also held annually, and depending on the fan (or expert), they will debate that the Indy 500 is not the greatest Nascar racing event.
Although it is one of the biggest races each year, draws huge turnouts in the racing world, and has been held annually for over 50 years now, the Indy 500 is only of the great races which are held annually. So, although it is one of the greatest races to date, it is debatable among Nascar fans, and Nascar races in the industry, whether or not it is the ultimate greatest race in the history of the sport. It is deeply rooted in Nascar history, and to some fans, is the greatest race to date.
